2014 Midwest Regional Biomechanics Meeting at University of Akron

We are going to be at this year's midwest biomechanics meeting just south of us at the University of Akron in March. Ton will be giving the first keynote address at the mini-conference. Details inside...
The University of Akron is pleased that the American Society of Biomechanics selected us as the host site for their 2014 Midwest Regional Biomechanics meeting.  The event will be held on March 4th and 5th, 2014, as described at  www.uakron.edu/ASB2014.  Please note that updates will be made to this website on a regular basis. 
Highlights of this meeting include:
  • Keynote by Dr. Ton van den Bogert, “Model-based strategies for analysis and prediction of human movement
  • Keynote by Dr. Frank Loth, "Experimental and Numerical Simulation of Biological Flows”
  • Workshop by Dr. Carin Helfer, ““Polymers: Crucial for Performance & Safety in Sports”
  • Free registration for students whose abstracts are accepted.  (There may be a limit of 15 per institution!)
  • Closing banquet at the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton!
